the oldest active alley in
CLOWNS OF AMERICA
INTERNATIONAL
Clowns from across central Virginia and the Hampton Roads area gathered on August 3rd at Hickory Neck Episcopal Church in Toano, Virginia, for the Eighth Annual Blessing of the Clowns.  The Very Reverend Michael L. Delk, Rector, officiated at the service and offered a special clown blessing and clown prayer.  Members of Kolonial Klowns and Virginia Alley #3 participated in a narrated interpretive skit of the Gospel.  Following the worship service, clowns, their family and friends, along with church parishioners enjoyed a reception in the Parish Hall.  The Reverend Lauren McDonald, Associate Rector, was presented with a red foam clown nose and clown corsage and welcomed into the Kolonial Klowns family.  The event was hosted by Kolonial Klowns of Williamsburg-Alley #357.
