News!!!!!!!!!! Requests for proclamations have been sent out by numerous committee clowns and helper clowns to Governor Kaine, Senator Webb, Senator Mark Warner, Rep Eric Cantor, Rep J.Randy Forbes, Rep Robert Scott, Henrico Board of Supervisors, Powhatan Board of Supervisors (already scheduled!!!!). Hanover Board of Supervisors, Richmond City Council and Chesterfield Board of Supervisors may have already been sent requests as well.

News!!!!!!!! Lollipop has secured a one-day during Clown Week announcement for Clown Week 2009 on the marquee at the Holiday Inn Select- Koger Center!

News!!!!!!! Bubba has sent us 50 packs (12/pack) of noses to sell to raise money for Camp Sundown.   Note: We are also looking for ways to raise money for Camp Sunshine in honor of Clown Week!

Clown Week 2009 Schedule

Sat. Aug. 1st: VA Hospital 1 - 2:30PM (Skits, face painting, balloons, magic for wounded vets and families)
         Chesterfield Town Center: 3:30 - 6PM (Face painting and balloons)

Sun Aug 2nd:   9th Annual Blessing of the Clowns, Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, Toano, VA:
                      Service at 9AM-- arrive no later than 8:50AM.

Mon Aug 3rd: Day: WEAR YOUR CLOWN SHOES TO WORK

                                  Evening: (1) Children's Hospital 6:30PM (No balloons or loud noise. Yes- lots of smiles!)
                                             (2) Hilliard House 6:30 or 7PM (Shelter for moms and kids. Skits, balloons, face painting and smiles!)

Tues Aug 4th: Day: Evening: Local/National Night Out

Wed Aug 5th: Day: Evening: Lucy Corr Nursing Home 6:30PM (Skits, magic, smiles!)

Thurs Aug 6th: Day: Evening: The Virginia Home 7PM (Skits, balloons, pocket magic, smiles!)

Fri Aug 7th:   Evening: Masonic Home 6:30PM (May change to 7PM) (Skits, magic, balloons, smiles!)

Sat Aug 8th: CLOWN WEEK DINNER-- A celebration of Alley #3. Site: Calabash
